I use Adobe Illustrator to create logo designs, illustrations, ad screens and much more. For example, if we're pitching a client, we may decide that we want to create a unique logo for the pitch. In that case, I use illustrator. Recently, I also used Illustrator to create a floor map for our building.
Pros
Adobe Illustrator is a very specific but powerful program that cannot be replaced when creating digital graphics, from logos to illustrations. Its interface is simple, straightforward, and allows for so many different ways to create. I've downloaded the Adobe apps and have experimented with integrating them into my work. Specifically, I have found Adobe capture to be a useful tool.
Cons
There isn't much I dislike about Adobe Illustrator. I wish however, there was a way to establish gridlines and columns like you can in InDesign.
